baby steps

And so... at 10 months old, Azalia took her first steps. Dgn bangganye I told Wan Jan (her babysitter) and dengan selambanya she replied.. "aah dah reti sket2". Aiseh rupanya dah tunjuk kat wan dia dulu. Same thing happened when I excitedly told her that she can now geleng kepala (all this while angguk je reti). It sokay baby... I dun care where and who saw it first.. Mummy's proud of you either way.

Azalia bites. She bites when she's geram. We're scared of this habit of hers coz she bites really hard. She has 6 teeth now . 4 at the top and 2 at the bottom. Very sharp teeth I tell you. Atuk nenek dia ( who are dentists) are very proud of those strong teeth.

Funny thing happened the other day while I was having my daily conversation with Azalia about how she should always be a good girl and listen to me.

me-" Azalia anak mak good girl, mummy is always right tau."

Azalia's reponse - shaking her head

me-"aik kecik2 dah lawan ke? No no..you're a good girl"

I know it's coincidence but what a coincidence!!!!

Oh and she now understands,

1. sayang pipi(tap ur fingers kat pipi and she'll go to you with mouth wide open to sayang you)

2. waves goodbye

3. mak/anyone pakai tudung = mak/anyone going out

4. cium tangan.(thanks to babysitter for religiously teaching her this)

So updates on the parents? Well work has been busy (so what else is new) Studies are moving along slowly. Our exams are in June. And I guess that's it. Hahahaha.... very routine kan our life. How do we make it less routine???
